MORE ABOUT Gleneagles GC

Golf writers, historians and loyalists agree that there is no other golf course in the region, country or world quite like it.

Words used to describe Gleneagles are: “testy”, “unique”, “scruffy”, “fast”, “tilted”, and “pure”.

For more than 60 years, Gleneagles GC has quietly catered to the most diverse community in golf: San Francisco mayors and ditch diggers,  country club members, "Joe/Jane" muni, and high school teams.  Both high handicappers and scratch players alike come here to test themselves on the challenging contours that make us all equal and humbled.

Established in 1962 to much pomp and circumstance,  Gleneagles GC tradition continues with the renovation of all nine greens with bentgrass,  the same grass varietal used by The Olympic Club, Harding Park and most private clubs.

Affordable rates, fast play and faster greens have been hallmarks for over six decades and it is home to one of the finest 19th Holes in all the golf kingdom, a place where old world hospitality meets a new generation of golfer every day.

If you are looking for a golf experience like no other,  you owe it to yourself to find us and play.

If you only have time for one stop in muni land, this is it, folks. Gleneagles is a sneaky-challenging track unlike any other in the city.
